Jack Vickers' Vision

From the days when it was just a dream, Jack Vickers envisioned Castle Pines Golf Club as being the Augusta National of the west, setting the standard of excellence in all phases of its operation. From the Jack Nicklaus designed golf course to the dining experience, on-site cottages, the Clubhouse atmosphere and beyond, accommodating hospitality and world-class service remain the standard today.

Beginning five years after opening, The International started in 1986, making Jack Vickers' dream of bringing a PGA Tour event to Castle Pines Golf Club a reality. During the tenure of the tournament, the golf course rose in the national and international spotlight as millions tuned in to watch the best players in the world—including Greg Norman, Phil Mickelson and Davis Love III—go for birdies and eagles in the rarified Colorado air. The International lasted for 21 years and continues to play a role in the improvements to the championship course today.

Looking to the Future

Castle Pines Golf Club is entering an exciting time in our Club's history looking towards the future. We are continuing to invest in our infrastructure to improve the Golf Course and Clubhouse amenities in order to give our Members "The Best Day of Golf in America." In our pursuit of becoming a Top 10 Golf Club, we are looking for dedicated team members focused on extending Jack Vickers' vision of upholding the highest quality service and experience in golf and hospitality.
